I'm pretty happy about being in the city for the Contact Festival.

All month long, downtown Toronto will be inundated with a myriad of photographs from all over the world. This year, "the 14th annual CONTACT will consider the ways in which photography informs and transforms human behavior. CONTACT 2010: Pervasive Influence will reveal personal and social consequences of the medium of photography, in a society devoted to the image " which sounds interesting.

All in all, downtown Toronto will be prettier, I'll get to see some cool photographic art, and I'm fairly certain most of it is free of charge - win, win!
